Summer 2009

It has been another amazing year of new experiences. One in particular is going back to school . . . as a student! Last fall I began working on my masters degree at Boston University. I'm about halfway through at this point and have had most of the summer off (July and August). It has been a much needed time of rejuvenation. I've been working on a few composition projects including a multi-movement cantata which I hope to complete one of these days...

Summer 2008

You may be wondering just what this picture is all about. Well, I have owned one conducting baton for the last 20 years until my first year of full-time teaching. The photo says it all. One might say it was time, but those teachers out there know better ;-)  All joking aside, it was a wonderful year and I look forward to many more . . . and many more batons!
